It’s the power and rush of a mighty wind
The brilliant sky when the day begins
The pounding of a great stampede
The luscious flowering of seeds
The force and flow in the River of Ja
The legend of the wise Sun Ra
A bouquet of lilac and chrysanthemum
The roaring crowd in a stadium
The urgent cries of a starving throng
The piercing wren in her morning song
It’s bursting berries in blush bright red
It’s the certain gush from the fountainhead
It’s Coltrane and Miles running liquid scales
Denzel and Billy Dee in tux and tails
The forces of nature in symphony
A shocking pink epiphany
A blazing, crackling, burning bush
Plum deliciously dangerous
Smooth, warm, creamy silk
Velvet, satin buttermilk
Desert dunes, a mountain’s peak
The wild ride of a comet’s streak
The ocean’s wave, the moon’s caress
Mandingo Love is nature’s best
